But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:4-7 (NIV)

We have been raised with Christ and are seated with Him in heavenly realms. How amazing! Think about it, we are way up there with Jesus Christ Himself! What an awesome privilege! This is why a Christian should not have a low estimation of himself because we are elevated by God himself. If Jesus is high up, so are we. We need to get to a point where we come to a full understanding of who we are in Christ so we can begin to operate in high levels of faith.

If you truly realize that you are in Christ, your days of low-living will be far behind you. It is not pride; it is the truth. The Bible has instructed us to set our minds on things above. God’s word has repeatedly emphasized where we are to set our minds because it is vital for living the kind of life that God has called us into. Therefore, if you want to live a life of victory, freedom, purpose and calling, your mindset has to match all of these things. You have to think of yourself as seated in the heavenly places with Christ because up there, all the promises of God are available to you.

Living the elevated life in Christ does not require works or toiling, but divine revelation. Revelation is like that light bulb that suddenly comes on in your head when you realize the truth of something you have been seeing, hearing and reading for a long time. It is like a mathematical equation you have been trying to solve for a long time, and suddenly you get it!

Beloved, may the revelation of who you are in Christ dawn on you so that you can live a full and elevated life in Christ Jesus.
