But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
Romans 15:29 (NKJV)

Apostle Paul speaks of his coming in the “fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ”. That is the level of operation of the blessing that we as believers ought to walk in. Paul is very conscious that he carries the fullness of the blessing, which is not so for many believers today. How conscious are we about the blessing we carry?

Galatians 3:14 says, “…that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” As believers, we should walk in the light of God’s blessing, having been translated from the kingdom of darkness into light.

We must first have that consciousness that we are carriers of the blessing and not allow the devil to cheat us from our inheritance in Christ. Indeed, many believers are going through unnecessary hassles, heartaches or barrenness just because they lack the understanding and consciousness of divine blessings.

The devil sells to them fallible reason and logic of men that justify and seem to rationalize their struggles. They even embellish their acceptance of these lies with clichés like “Suffering and smiling”, “We are managing”, “Life is tough” or “Poverty will teach me humility”. Child of God, we serve a God who is so rich in blessings and full of love for us that He does not need to use pain or suffering to teach us anything. The Psalmist said, “I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their seed begging for bread” (Psalm 37:25).

Beloved, the only requirement for living and operating this blessing is to accept His gift of salvation by faith and to deepen your knowledge of this many-sided blessing through the word of God. The time to walk in the blessing is now.
