Then Jesus came close to them and said, “All the authority of the universe has been given to me.
Matthew 28:18 (TPT)

There is a connection between the culture of peace and exercising our authority. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus delegated His authority to us, the same way He gave us His peace.

This means that the peace with which we are operating belongs to Jesus and the authority we are wielding also belongs to Jesus; therefore, we cannot fail. God is the One backing our authority. God is the one and only Source of our authority and of our peace. He is Emmanuel – God is with us.

Your peace is connected to the exercise of authority. So, the extent to which you exercise your authority is the extent to which you will enjoy peace. Therefore, you must take authority over anything that threatens your peace and ensure peace reigns.

Brethren, you must remove everything that threatens your prosperity, your environment, your mind or body.  Use the word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit, by speaking. Speak to situations; proclaim what God has said about you. Do not be silent!

Exercise your authority through words. Whatever you want to see, say it. Speak to the situation. Enforce peace with your mouth. Part of your weapon is what you say. A wise man will know how to use words.

Beloved, what you say matters. Always speak the truth of God's word. Do not bother about the facts because they are temporary. This is the fight of faith. Speak right and enforce peace.
