Maximising the Operations of the Blessing – Organise (Part 1)

April 15:2019

Let all things be done decently and in order
1 Corinthians 14:40 (NKJV)

`

Our God is a God of order. As a child of God, do likewise. Organise yourself. Organise your home – bedroom, sitting room. Organise your workspace. Just as you do spiritually; laying aside the weights and sins that beset you, give attention to your body and physical environment. Do not carry baggage and hoard things that cannot find their right and positive place around you.

The purpose of organising is to create decency and order. Demons are sensitive to disorganised places because it reminds them of their kingdom. Take deliberate steps to shun disorganised spaces. Have you ever felt physically exhausted, stressed or in need of some peace and quiet so you can mentally and physically rejuvenate to think, refresh and boost your vitality? In this situation, if you walk into an untidy or dirty place, it will certainly add to your stress.

Consider what a spa looks like. Often, people visit spas to aid their relaxation. In such places, the ambience is usually created to be clean, neat, and organised. There is often the beckon of soft music to soothe your mind; the sweet-smelling perfumes titillate and subtly boost that needed sense of well-being.

Organising your physical environment contributes a great deal to your overall physical and mental wellness. With respect to the creating of order, Esther in the Bible used this to great effect. By God’s leading, she ordered the actions she would take to draw the attention of the king.

So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favour in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the sceptre. And the king said to her, “What do you wish, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given to you—up to half the kingdom!” So Esther answered, “If it pleases the king, let the king and Haman come today to the banquet that I have prepared for him.”…So the king and Haman went to the banquet that Esther had prepared. At the banquet of wine the king said to Esther, “What is your petition? It shall be granted you. What is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!” (Esther 5:2-6)

Beloved, organisation involves long-term planning, which is eventually narrowed to the mid-and short-term. Your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing contribute to your effectiveness in being used by God. Creating order aligns you with God’s intent in fulfilling your destiny. Create that order in your life today.
