FREE FROM INDWELLING SIN

January 12:2019

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death
Romans 8:1-2 (NKJV)

`

Before Jesus came into the world, man was already condemned just by being alive. The Bible refers to that dispensation as the Ministry of Condemnation because of the absence of Jesus Christ. Then, man was not yet saved, so he didn’t have eternal life. But now that we are in Christ, there is no longer condemnation because we have believed in the finished work of Christ; we now have eternal life.

Sometimes, you may feel like you have been condemned because of what you did, but there is good news today. You are free from the distribution of sin and death!

Just like the law of sin and death began to work in Adam after he disobeyed God, all who came from his loins – through birth, received that same law. But when Jesus showed up, He brought light and made a new way for us. Through Christ, we are exposed to the distribution of the Spirit of life. This means we have crossed from death to life. Hallelujah!

Child of God, wherever there is a higher force, the lower force is eliminated forever. So, go about your day with the attitude of victory over every force of sin and death. The higher force of Jesus is at work in your life. He reigns!
