December 06:2018

Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”
Mark 10:46-49 (NKJV)‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

The scripture above narrates the situation of a blind man who was desperate to have his sight restored. Having heard that the solution to his problem was within reach, nothing was going to deter him. The Bible tells us here that people around him tried to shut him up by making him feel uncomfortable about his demand. Allowing what people say limit or affect your confession of faith is a quick way to rob you of your miracle.

When God gives you a word and you are standing on it, steadfastly make your confessions and prayer of faith. Refuse to let people's past experiences, their opinion, their judgement of time or efficacy, affect your faith in that word that you have believed and are confessing. If you don't back down, in due time, your confession will be evident to all.

Beloved, God will perfect all that concerns you this year as you hold on to His promises and refuse to back down.
