Satisfied With His Goodness

May 08:2019

Blessed is the man You choose, And cause to approach You, That he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Of Your holy temple.
Psalm 65:4

`

Brethren, God is about to bring a renewal of His goodness into your life. He is getting ready to bring fulfilment and satisfaction to you by saturating your life with good things! Listen to His promise to us through the prophet Jeremiah. “I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, And My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 31:14)

You see, it is His desire to see us enjoy our lives; He has no pleasure in seeing us sad, bruised and dejected. As our shepherd, He never wants to see us (His sheep) living in lack and poverty. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1).

To receive this abundance of His goodness in our lives, we must have a desire to experience it and be willing to exercise our faith in Him for good things. It is important that we wipe out of our minds any notion that God is unwilling to pour His goodness on us. “For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness” (Psalm 107:9)

We qualify for God’s goodness by virtue of the fact that we are His children. He is the perfect Father and will do much more for us than our earthly parents can do. “Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”  (Matthew 7:9-11)

Beloved, I pray that you will see more of God’s goodness in the next six months than you have ever experienced. In Jesus name, Amen!
