Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Ephesians ‭3:20‬ (‭NKJV)‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Many times we pray to God but we seem not to relate our prayers to anything that subsequently happens around us. For instance, you may be waiting on a sidewalk for a taxi and you have prayed for one to come. All of a sudden, it starts raining ‘cats and dogs’ and there is now a big scramble for all the available taxis; you think in your heart, I really don’t need this now, Lord. However, while you are still contemplating getting into this big taxi rush, you hear someone calling out to you; lo and behold, an old friend was just passing by! Not only do you get a nice warm ride, you are taken to your destination and you also receive an offer to be picked up and taken home.

If you pray and forget what you prayed about, things will start happening around you that may seem unusual or seem like distractions to you. You can choose to ignore them, but doing this is a failure to connect the events to your prayers. The word says that all things work together for the good of those that love God. When you pray, immediately begin to watch out for the things that will happen next and prepare to make adjustments as needed. God not only answers, He does much more than we ask for.

If you pray about issues and consistently get a different ‘answer’, seek God to show you what He is doing and adjust to His timing. Spiritual concentration is required for you to connect the dots around you and help you to wait for God’s answers.

Beloved, never let the thoughts cross your mind that God does not hear, He is too slow or He does not care. God is too faithful to fail.
