No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house.
Mark 3:27 (NKJV)

Jesus, during his earthly ministry, overpowered the ‘strong man’. The phrase ‘strong man’ in the text is a reference to Satan, also known as Beelzebub, the prince of demons. Jesus took the battle to the pit of hell, Satan’s headquarters, and gained total victory there over the forces of evil. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (Colossians 2:15).

After battles are fought, the victors are expected to take possession of the spoils of war, stripping the vanquished of their goods and valuables, and plundering all their booty. Brethren, Jesus has won the war. It is time for us to plunder!

The kingdoms are now ready for us to take possession of and the spoils of war are ready for our taking. These kingdoms, goods and valuables, have always belonged to our Father, the Creator of the earth. He handed them over to mankind at the creation but Satan, in the Garden of Eden, stole them from us. Jesus came to recover man’s authority and retrieve all the wealth and resources of the planet from Satan. Through His redemptive work, He has restored it all back to the Church. Hallelujah!

Beloved, I see you taking possession! I see you plundering the good of the land! I see you becoming a person of great influence and affluence in the nation! Amen.
