July 22:2018

But the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.
Deuteronomy 11:11-12 (NKJV)

Our text today is intended to produce reassurance in our hearts about the kind of Father that we have in Jehovah. He is such a responsible Father that He has every day of this year covered and planned for, and His eyes (blessing) are upon the works of our hands. Being born again means that we hail from God and our citizenship is of heaven; we have crossed from death to life and are here to possess the land territories for the kingdom. Because of the hills and valleys, there may be a natural tendency to fret and be pressured, but not so for a child of God who constantly drinks from the “rain of heaven” in the person of the Holy Spirit.

Never focus on the issues and never put the pressure on any man, as only God can handle the pressure. He is our dependable and unending source, hallelujah! There is no longer a question of sufficiency for a child of God; Jesus said, Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? (Matthew 6:26).

In Christ, we have the full measure. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God (2 Corinthians 3:5). It is time to reawaken to the reality of who we are in Christ and operate with a daily consciousness of where our provisions come from as we engage in the works of our hands.

Beloved, there is no lack in this kingdom. Our God is more than enough!
