FOLLOW THROUGH

The end of a thing is better than its beginning; the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
Ecclesiastes 7:8 (NKJV)

A good football game takes the whole of ninety minutes. During that period, football fans cannot watch the first half and state with certainty what the final results will be. They sit and follow the game through until the end.

As humans, it takes us time to learn to walk, speak, get through the educational system, and settle into married life and career. In life, things sometimes take steps in order to manifest or come together. Pregnancy in humans takes nine months until birth. During the waiting period, God expects us to have staying power and remain in His word daily. We should not waver when we are trusting Him for situations to change. We must always have patience as we walk with the Lord and through life.

God knows and sees all the behind-the-scenes activities happening that we don’t know about. God knows that we will feel like giving up many times and when these times come, His strength is available to help us go on. His strength is sufficient for us (1 Corinthians 12:9). Only when we follow through can we receive all that God has promised us. You should rejoice because daily, He provides the ability. His promises should keep your hope alive. Our Father is not pleased when we give up, give in or don’t follow through.

Child of God, you are encouraged to stand till the very end in the ability He gives!

Prayer & Confession of Faith

Teach me O Lord, to always watch and pray, especially when I am in expectation of the fulfilment of Your revelation. I count it all Joy to be Your child. As I wait in patience, please accept my thanks. Amen!
