So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
John 19:30 (NKJV)

Earthly parents sometimes judge what they do for their children based on how they feel. For instance, your child may want to play football with you just at the moment when you walk in from your job. Understandably, your immediate response may be “No” because you need to unwind. Children, at times, ask for things that parents may not immediately respond to.

Our God said that the cattle on a thousand hills are His and if He was hungry, He would not tell us! At our new birth, we got salvation which encompasses healing, deliverance, safety, peace, right standing, and prosperity. If God has given us all these blessings, then He will not hold back on any of these benefits that are in our salvation!

Remember that salvation was His idea; God’s response to us is always a love response. He does not get tired, nor does He have financial challenges. The death and resurrection of Jesus brought us into exceedingly great and precious promises. What He promises is not only true but always comes to pass. Our response to what He has done and said should be “Yes Lord, I believe”.

Our scripture text says, “It is finished”, meaning that Jesus has paid in full for our salvation.

Beloved, if you have a revelation of what He gave us on the cross, you will realize of a truth that there is nothing in this world that He has not already done for you. Receive what He has done by faith. Believe it and act like it is so, because it is!
