Mindset

June 04:2018

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 2:5 (NKJV)

`

The things you say or the choices and decisions you make are as a result of your mindset. God will not force you into what you are not in agreement with Him. You have the liberty to make a choice. God desires that you choose righteousness instead of sin. He wants you to choose light rather than darkness; to choose life and reject death. Successful choices and decisions emanate from the right mindset. You may ask, “How do I go about maintaining the right mindset?”

The Lord says 'And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God' (Romans 12:2). Once you get born-again, you have to keep renewing your mind because your mind is the gate between the word of God and your flesh. You should allow the word of God into your mind to affect your thoughts and guide your emotions. Take practical steps from today to live and think right. Deliberately think good thoughts – even about your enemies. You can make a decision to forgive someone and move on.

Beloved, make it your duty to get closer to God. The more you know Him, the more your mind is set right on Him and is at peace. It will make a world of difference in living your life to its full potential while on earth. Take that step of faith and see God at work.
