For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
1 Peter 3:12 (NKJV)

People of many world religions literally spend millions trying to please their gods. They seek atonement for their sins, plead for forgiveness and seek answers to their needs. Yearly pilgrimages and ritual rights are carried out all in a bid to foster dedication to these gods and hoping that they would get answers to their prayers. But these ‘have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see (Psalm 135:16). Yet for us, there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live (1 Corinthians 8: 6).

God’s answers to your prayers are not open for purchase; you cannot place price tags on them. Answering your prayers is His absolute delight and you will never need to force His hand to get Him to do this. He is a prayer answering God! Through the righteousness of Jesus and the finished work on the cross, God hears and answers the prayers of His children.

As long as you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour, you are a joint-heir with Him and you have all the privileges of the divine. Build your faith by acknowledging the seemingly simple things we may take for granted, like sleeping and waking up, breathing fresh oxygen or the ability to crack open a smile in the midst of the harshest storm!

Beloved, decree a thing and it shall be established unto you. Speak His word concerning that situation and then wait and see the glory of God made manifest. When the answer comes through, it will be certain that it is the hand of the Lord that did it.

Prayer & Confession of Faith

My heavenly Father, as it is in Your word: “All the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” Dear Lord, You are not a man that You should lie. Neither are You the son of man that You should repent. Just as You have said it, so shall You do it. As You have spoken, You shall make it come to fruition. I say amen, in earnest expectation. Amen!
