Arriving At the Other Side

June 12:2018

On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
Mark 4:35-39

We can see that the destination of Jesus and His disciples had been set before they ventured out. They had agreed to go to the other side of the sea! We can liken this to a prayer, an expectation or a request that we brought before God and received a word to serve as an anchor for our faith. That you prayed for something in faith and have a word from God does not rule out the chances of the devil challenging that word. In fact, that you have believed the word of God and are holding onto His promises for your miracle is a recipe for a storm.

You, however, will have the manifestation of your expectations if you refuse to be swayed by the storm that arises while you wait. Remember, like Jesus and His disciples, the plan is to reach the set destination and not to drown at sea. Your plan is not to let go just halfway while you tarry, but to see the full manifestation.

Beloved, as you walk with the Holy Spirit this year, you will surely experience supernatural manifestations and reach that place of rich fulfilment in your endeavours, in Jesus name. Amen!
