Words of Faith

June 08:2018

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach).
Romans 10:8 (NKJV)

You should realise that as a child of God, you have the capacity and the authority of God. People who are full of the Holy Spirit speak words that are consistent with the word of God. Be assured that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (I John 4:4).

No matter what is before you, put yourself together and speak those words of faith! Hold firmly to the confession of faith. The devil is a bully who would taunt you to see how far you can be pushed. The devil is good at framing people into believing that what is happening to them is their fault. He hangs a garment of guilt so people would be ashamed to come before God's throne of grace with confidence!

Always respond to the devil when evil words or lies are spoken against you. When you are faced with a challenge, the first thing to do is to speak. Make your voice louder than your challenges or the accusations. Did the devil not go before God to accuse Job? No wonder Job can refer us to God's word: You shall decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you (Job 22:28).

Make a decision to hold on to your confession of faith without wavering. Believe that Him who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24). Be assured that the Spirit of the Lord within gives you inner strength. When you have possessed your possessions and taken hold of your victory, lift up your voice and bless the Lord!

Beloved, may God give you more unction so that every word you speak will yield forth fruits; for God creates the fruit of the lips for His pleasure.

Prayer & Confession of Faith

I am emboldened to speak knowing that the Lord would honour the words of my lips. I confess that I am healed and delivered from every affliction of the devil. I shall live and not die. I shall fulfil my destiny to the glory of God. As I take stock of my victories, I rejoice with songs of praise and worship unto God. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!
