In 2019, God wants us to pursue Him and His promises to us with an intense passion. To ‘press in’ is to move or cause to move into a position of contact with something by exerting continuous force. This is exactly how God wants us to tackle the things of His Kingdom – by continuous spiritual force.
Apostle Paul, writing to the saints in Philippi said, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus – Philippians 3:13–14 (NKJV)
Paul was on fire for God! God does not want lukewarm Christians. He does not want us to be so caught up in achieving success in life that we forget to press into all He has in store for us, which will ultimately give us the success we desire.
God wants you to know Him for who He is – a good God; a Father that cares for His children and provides for them abundantly.
In this devotional, God is inviting you to press in and know Him more. He wants you to reset your mind on Him so you can experience His unprecedented blessings. It is my desire that the articles here will show you the benefits you will enjoy as you do so this year.
Be blessed as you read.
Much Love,
Andy Osakwe
