KEEP YOUR CONFIDENCE (Part 3)

"For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have NO CONFIDENCE IN THE FLESH, though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ"
Philippians 3:3-8 (NKJV)

Our faith must be built on our confidence in the word of God and it must be established on the revelation of the finished work of Christ. We must avoid the temptation of putting our trust in flesh or man.

“Confidence in the flesh” is a phrase which refers to a dependence on our own natural strengths and abilities, or to a dependence on the natural strengths and abilities of other people.
Confidence in the flesh will result in all kinds of bondage because it will introduce the fear of man into our hearts and expose us to intimidation and manipulation.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.” (Psalm 118:8-9 NKJV)

Confidence in God, on the other hand, will guarantee us the freedom to live in the fullness of God's plan for our lives and enable us to love everybody without any 'strings' attached.

I break all dependence on the flesh that has yoked your life and prevented you from gaining meaningful advancements. Your acceleration for the rest of this year will be unstoppable. Amen!

Prayer & Confession of faith
I have confidence in You, Lord. I put no confidence in the flesh and I am free to live in the fullness of your plan for my life. Hallelujah!
